Oopsy Daisy, Fine Art For Kids

  • Customers LOVE Peel & Place Wall Stickers by Jennifer Mercede

I recently purchased the Randolph and Skipper wall decals by Oopsy daisy, designed by Jennifer Mercede. I own and run a nursery school for toddlers ages 2 and 3 years, and we have a fun and colorful Africa theme in one corner of the room.

These decals surpassed my expectations by leaps and bounds. They looked fun and appealing on your website, but on my wall they have come alive with color and playfulness. They are well worth the cost, especially compared to other wall stickers I have tried. I easily applied the decals by myself, even though they are quite large.

I love Jennifer Mercede’s style and will order other art done by her for my room. Randolph and Skipper appeal to the teachers and parents as well as to the children in my program. Thank you for offering such a satisfying product!

    Kind regards,
Friend of the Family Nursery School

  • Tiny Treasures

Today’s terrariums aren’t just kids’ science projects anymore; they are tongue-in-cheek and chic.

I don’t know if it’s possible to express my love of all things in miniature. Dollhouse stores could pacify me for hours as a little girl- staring at all the tiny milk bottles, pots and pans, chairs, TVs… Total heaven.

Terrariums- something that can take me to that same escape, but look chic on my coffee table. Everyone will enjoy this family project.

Today’s terrariums aren’t just kids’ science projects anymore; they are tongue-in-cheek and chic. These have quite an artistic following and there are a bazillion ways to express yourself. Look for quirky miniatures that you can use to create a scene on Ebay, Etsy, and in hobby shops. Rachael Ray even offers instructions- think of the possibilities…

  • This Little Piggy Saved Money

Cuteness factor aside, piggy banks really are a great idea to have around. Kids need to know the difference between instant gratification (spend that $5 immediately on something that he won’t care about tomorrow) and the reward of saving until he can get what he’s been dying for!

In comes the protector of coinage- now in many forms. I think we’ll always call them “piggy banks”, even though there have been many styles of money container for decades. Take a look at some of the vintage banks you can find right now- Etsy is definitely the jackpot!

  • Leaps and Bounds

Bounding through the house on a humongous rubber ball, dodging sharp corners and perilous countertops made me giggle myself silly til I paused in front of the TV to catch a flash of a good cartoon.

Cut to 2011 (when The Snorks are considered “retro”) and you have all kinds of new bouncy choices! Hopper Balls still come in a slew of options for size and price. But, does your wannabe kangaroo like animals? Know that Italian Stallion Rody? (or the Mighty Steve as my family calls it) It’s a hit with kids of all ages, even adults can join the fun with the Max version holding up to 400 lbs.!

  • Jungle Fun Peel & Place was MORE FUN than we expected.

    Dear Oopsy daisy,

I am writing to let you know that we are very impressed with the wall stickers that we ordered from you. They were much larger than we thought they would be and they look like hand-painted murals on the wall. We love them so much that we want to order more!
