Is Santa Real? Ways to Convince Kids that He Is

Every kid asks it sooner or later. Is Santa Real? In our house, one little doubter has decided that this year he will write a secret wish list with invisible ink in order to put Santa to the test.

But we've got a few tricks up our sleeve. Here are

5 ways to keep the tradition alive.

1. Sleigh bells ring, are you listenin'? Once the little ones are tucked into bed on Christmas Eve, have someone (a neighbor?) jingle some sleigh bells outside.

2. Watch your step! Create tiny footprints around Santa's cookies. Cut a foot shape out of a sponge, then use flour and glitter to print a path. Is Santa Real? He must be: with who else would the elves be traveling?

3. Hide the evidence. So often, it's the wrapping paper that gives it away. Santa surely uses his very own paper, don't you think? Don't use it to wrap non-Santa gifts.

4. Leave a trace. What's this? A bit of red felt near the fireplace? Santa must have torn his suit on the way down the chimney.

5. Personalize it. The tree's been decorated for awhile, right? So who else could have put a brand-new, personalized ornament on it during the n

ight before Christmas? One with the child's name on it, even? Must be Santa.

That's what we've got up our (fur-trimmed) sleeve this season to combat the "is Santa Real" question. We hope these tips work for you, and please cross your fingers that they'll work for us!
