  • Framing Stretched Canvas Art Adds Polish

We've always made Oopsy daisy stretched canvas wall art  have a finished edge so that it can be hung straight on your wall, fresh out of the box. But, we've now added the option of adding a shadowbox frame to many of our stretched wall art pieces. Stretched art framing adds polish and a designer finish. If you're looking for that extra "pop", framing may be just what you're looking for!

We sought out a shadowbox frame that adds the little something extra that can transform a piece of our art with a sleek, designer touch. The surprising thing is, adding a frame won't cost you tons extra. It's a professional addition -we add the frame during the production phase, so your artwork comes ready to hang - at a DIY price! Choose between warm white and deep pewter for a crisp addition to your custom canvas wall art.

When hanging your artwork collection in your little one's room or any wall space in your home, be adventurous and create a gallery wall full of your favorite pieces. We encourage you to hang multiple pieces together in a grid pattern, but to also mixed framed art with our non-framed stretched canvas art. This creates interest and expresses your unique personality and style.

  • Is Santa Real? Ways to Convince Kids that He Is

Every kid asks it sooner or later. Is Santa Real? In our house, one little doubter has decided that this year he will write a secret wish list with invisible ink in order to put Santa to the test.

But we've got a few tricks up our sleeve. Here are

5 ways to keep the tradition alive.

    1. Sleigh bells ring, are you listenin'? Once the little ones are tucked into bed on Christmas Eve, have someone (a neighbor?) jingle some sleigh bells outside.

    2. Watch your step! Create tiny footprints around Santa's cookies. Cut a foot shape out of a sponge, then use flour and glitter to print a path. Is Santa Real? He must be: with who else would the elves be traveling?

    3. Hide the evidence. So often, it's the wrapping paper that gives it away. Santa surely uses his very own paper, don't you think? Don't use it to wrap non-Santa gifts.

    4. Leave a trace. What's this? A bit of red felt near the fireplace? Santa must have torn his suit on the way down the chimney.

    5. Personalize it. The tree's been decorated for awhile, right? So who else could have put a brand-new, personalized ornament on it during the n

ight before Christmas? One with the child's name on it, even? Must be Santa.

That's what we've got up our (fur-trimmed) sleeve this season to combat the "is Santa Real" question. We hope these tips work for you, and please cross your fingers that they'll work for us!

  • We ♥ Modern Family and Cherry Blossom Birdies

If we were asked what we love more than the hit TV show Modern Family, we'd have to answer that it's when we see Cherry Blossom Birdies on Modern Family! There's no shortage of love around for the hilarious sitcom Modern Family and Cherry Blossom Birdies has gotten quite a following, as well! The Winborg Sisters really struck artistic gold when they created this adorable piece that is loved by people near and far, big and small. Cherry Blossom Birdies has such broad appeal, it's in the bedrooms of babies to big girls all around the country and we've created a slew of Cherry Blossom Birdies themed products to accent this canvas wall art and even in different colorways!

In addition, we're super happy to spot a few of our other lovely pieces of artwork that have made appearances in Lily's room on Modern Family. Sally Bennett's vintage-inspired nursery wall art Hootie Owl and Ella Elephant along with Caroline Blum's "Making My Mark".

While we enjoy tuning in as  much as humanly possible to Modern Family, nothing brings bigger smiles to Oopsy daisy faces than spotting our artwork in all the funny scenes.

    P. S. Don't forget about Aaron Christensen's I Love Rock & Roll Girl in Alex's room!

  • Kids' Night Lights for Holiday Nights

So many winter holidays involve lights. Think of the Kinara with its 7 candles for Kwanzaa. Or the Menorah with 8 for Hanukkah. And the Christmas Advent wreath with 5. But no matter what the religion, one light you'll most likely find in common is kids' night lights.

Especially when little ones are too excited to sleep (was that Santa we just heard?), a sweet and soothing night light is the perfect thing. And here at Oopsy daisy Fine Art for Kids, our kids' night lights are pieces of fine art in their own right.

Many of them can be personalized, as well, just to make sure Santa knows whose room he's peeking into.

Our night light works with the layout of any US outlet, because its base swivels. And the base is mounted through the hand-stretched, canvas-covered wood frame. There's a simple on/off switch, and the 4-watt bulb is included. Our night lights have passed independent laboratory safety tests and meet all CPSIA guidelines. And the canvas art piece can be removed from the base and displayed on a shelf once the afraid-of-the-dark age has passed by.

Celebrate a light-filled holiday with a light-filled gift: a kids' night light with a decidedly artsy touch. We make it extra-easy by packing it in a sturdy, wrappable box. With over 200 different styles to choose from (that's right, over 200!), no matter what holiday your favorite little one celebrates, you'll find a night light to match the mood.
