Jessica Allen Jessica Allen  Jessica Allen received her BFA from Tufts University in Art History and took extensive studies at the Boston Museum School of Fine Arts. She prefers to work in acrylics, painting on plywood or illustration board. Anything that tells a story-- antiques, natural history prints and hand lettering-- inspires her. Additionally, she is intrigued by Indian and Persian art, illustrated manuscript marginalia and the designs and patterns of textiles. In her free time, Jessica enjoys reading, cooking and walking her two miniature dachshunds.
Kelley Bentley Ash Kelley Bentley Ash Kelley Bentley Ash is a Folk Artist from Georgia who loves to incorporate old fabrics and newspaper's from the early 1920's-1970's into her art as well as paint mixed media on wood. She likes to bring history into her work and gets inspiration from simple things.
Kristina Bass Bailey Kristina Bass Bailey Kristina Bass Bailey’s creative works vary as much as the experiences that have shaped her artistic sensibilities. Raised in Macon, Georgia, she obtained her first job as an artist at the age of 16 painting bananas and bagels, doughnuts and dollars on signs for her local grocery store. After receiving her BFA in Fabric Design from the University of Georgia, she interned in New York City in the textile and fashion industries. There she spent her days dying fabrics and embellishing clothing surfaces, an experience that would later greatly influence her painting. An opportunity in visual merchandising with a national fashion accessories company brought her back home to Georgia where she currently lives with her husband in Atlanta. Although painting is now a full time pursuit for Kristina, she continues to draw upon her creative adventures embellishing her canvases with paper, paint, yarn, and fabric, and hopes that her art will inspire and bring joy to others.
Karina Bania Karina Bania As a child, Karina Bania loved creating. Largely self-taught, her only instruction were painting lessons at an early age. As the only child in a class of adults, she remembers fondly the smell of linseed oil, the way the light cast on the paintings and feeling very grown-up. Her whimsical mixed media paintings are layered with texture, hidden notes and timeless images. The combined elements create a playful sophistication that brings everyday objects to life.Karina lives with her family and loves keeping journals and big books filled with inspiring tidbits. She spent years living in India and traveling the world, which has shaped her art and her life. Karina feels that through art we learn to see; and through a child’s eyes what we see comes alive.
Bassett & Bachman Bassett & Bachman Justine Bassett and Jill Bachman have been working together since 2003. They have a very special approach to painting because they work as a team on every piece of artwork. Though both Jill and Justine were doing creative design for kids before they met, they found working together was much more fun than working alone. This teamwork really adds a special depth to their work. Trained as a fine artist at Tufts University and the Boston Museum School, Jill always loved art for kids and decided to concentrate solely on that after her two children were born. Justine attended Wellesley College and Georgetown University and had a fun career in international business, but she discovered a love and talent for kids’ art and design when she became a mom. Now Jill and Justine paint dinosaurs, and build castles, and make spaceships, and think their work is great fun. They met at a neighborhood playgroup, and the rest, as they say, is history.
Stephanie Bauer Stephanie Bauer Stephanie Bauer was born and raised in a very tiny town in Vermont. She grew up hunting for frogs and ice skating. She began art lessons when she was six and studied art and chemistry in college in Colorado. Stephanie has worked as an interior designer and faux finisher and is finally doing what she truly loves; painting and raising three daughters. The birth of her third child prompted the beginning of her whimsical, colorful & silly paintings for children. She also teaches art literacy in the Lake Oswego public schools.
Laura Huliska Beith Laura Huliska Beith Laura Huliska Beith is a children's book illustrator living in the middle of the country with her husband and 3 dogs. When she is not painting or drawing in her attic, she can be found reading a book, walking the dogs, or riding on the back of a motorcycle with her husband.
Sally Bennett Sally Bennett Sally graduated as a painting major from the Maryland Institute College of Art and studied at the Lacoste School of the Arts, Lacoste, France. She has worked in the interior design field for numerous years specializing in decorative painting. Over the years her clients have included Coach Stores, FAO Schwartz, Mark Cross, Polo, and Warner Bros., the Plaza Hotel, as well as numerous high profile individuals. She has produced products sold at Barney's, the Whitney Museum Store, Saks 5th Ave and Portico Home among others. She has designed New York bars and nightclubs (often for her husband Mr. Baxley), including Centro-Fly, Crane Club, Country Club, Barracuda, Drinkland. Ms. Bennett lives in Connecticut with her husband David and two daughters Ella & Ruby.
Diane Bigda Diane Bigda Diane Bigda’s work has been published in numerous books and magazines. Educated at Harvard University, Rhode Island School of Design and Massachusetts College of Art, she has worked for more than 15 years as a designer. Her art is influenced by her love for perennial gardening, ceramic tiles and northern Italy, and her color choices and whimsical viewpoint translate beautifully into are for children’s spaces.
Suzanne Blanck Suzanne Blanck Suzanne Blanck acquired a BFA in Graphic Design from Kendall College of Art and Design in Michigan. In 2003 Suzanne launched her own company, BLANCKSLATE that began as a hi-end invitation company and quickly grew to be an international stationery business. Creating art for the walls is a natural extension of her interests as she states “for the most part I enjoy working with and researching different materials and techniques as they, more often than not, are the inspiration for the art work I create. Happily married and a mother, she gains inspiration from everything by seeing what her child finds interesting. Suzanne sums it up with “each day is new, and I can hardly wait to see what there is to create tomorrow and in the years to come!"
Caroline Blum Caroline Blum Caroline Blum was born and educated in Northern, California. She decided to be an artist when she was very young. She studied painting at UC Santa Cruz and later at the New York Studio School. Today, she paints imaginative flowers, landscapes, still lives and portraits in her studio in New York City. Caroline is inspired by the work of Frida Kahlo, Susan Rothenberg and Henri Rousseau. Her artwork has been exhibited in New York, California and England and has been described as "dreamy, light-filled and mystical."
Flora Bowley Flora Bowley Flora S. Bowleys’ paintings are bold, colorful and rich, while remaining thoughtful, delicate and playful. Her work is created through a unique process of spontaneously layering free flowing color and mark-making with carefully rendered organic forms. These forms co-mingle with vibrant color fields to tell stories of magical places born from dreams, imagination and a deep connection to all living things. Flora’s large work on canvas and smaller works on bamboo are recognized and admired by galleries and art lovers across the U.S.
Flora lives and works full-time as a painter in Oregon, where she is inspired by magical forests, abundant gardens and a vibrant community of fellow artists. Deborah Brenner Deborah Brenner Deborah Brenner was born in Washington, D.C. and graduated with a major in art history from the University of Maryland. Her postgraduate studies included classes at the Corcoran School of Art and Design in Washington, D.C. and an apprenticeship in Japanese brush stroke with Kazuaki Tanahashi. Today, her most current paintings are influenced by her love of nature. The organic images appear among layers and layers of pigment and washes using acrylics, crayons and inks. Vibrant inks, strong calligraphic strokes, brush painting, splashing and spraying are the techniques used to bring alive her fields of flowers as well as her contemporary abstracts. Deborah’s art is represented in galleries, private and corporate collections throughout the United States.
J.W Caldwell J.W Caldwell J.W. Caldwell grew up in a small desert town in Southern California, spending much of his time drawing, painting and camping. With a bachelor’s degree in studio art, Caldwell has worked as a scenic artist painting sets for the stage. His artistic influences are various, including mid-century American illustration and pop art.
Eric Carle Eric Carle Eric Carle is acclaimed and beloved as the creator of brilliantly illustrated and innovatively designed picture books for very young children. His best-known work, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, has eaten its way into the hearts of literally millions of children all over the world and has been translated into more than 45 languages and sold over 30 million copies. Since the Caterpillar was published in 1969, Eric Carle has illustrated more than seventy books, many best sellers, most of which he also wrote, and more than 90 million copies of his books have sold around the world.
Born in Syracuse, New York, in 1929, Eric Carle moved with his parents to Germany when he was six years old; he was educated there, and graduated from the prestigious art school, the Akademie der bildenden Künste, in Stuttgart. But his dream was always to return to America, the land of his happiest childhood memories. So, in 1952, with a fine portfolio in hand and forty dollars in his pocket, he arrived in New York. Soon he found a job as a graphic designer in the promotion department of The New York Times. Later, he was the art director of an advertising agency for many years.

Maria Carluccio Maria Carluccio Maria Carluccio began her career as a graphic designer, graduating from Carnegie Mellon University. She has enjoyed a seasoned career as a textile designer, editorial illustrator, a children’s book author/illustrator and a product designer. She draws her inspiration from nature and from the random objects she collects (and sometimes even her pets too). Her collages have a vintage appeal due to the range of papers and trims she chooses, with a fresh sophisticated edge.
Carter Carpin Carter Carpin P. Carter Carpin is an artist and designer and holds a BFA in Product/Textile Design from Parsons School of Design in NYC. After years of designing for many prominent companies Carter returned to her hometown of Richmond Virginia to launch the magical world of Serious Whimsey, offering art and home decor for kids.Her passion for painting, color, patterns, and collage are fueled by memories of childhood, the beauty and magic in nature, most things vintage and a need to stay eternally optimistic. Her sunshine is her son, her husband and her art which she hopes makes you as happy and hopeful as it makes her.
Aaron Christensen Aaron Christensen Aaron Christensen works and lives with his family in the Pacific Northwest. Through his studio, he has been providing art, illustration, design, artful furniture, props and murals since 1997. He often chooses to express his creativity in themes. He'll explore a genre of art or popular culture and use the history, images and charm of the period to inspire his new works. His multi-layered and distressed works of art bring depth and intensity to a room.
Jen Christopher Jen Christopher Jen Christopher's love for creating started early, with a Cabbage Patch Kid sewing machine and dolls in serious need of a makeover. She maintained this focus on the arts, and attended Design and Architecture Senior High School, a magnet school program which offered a concentration in fashion design. Jen then completed her studies at Purdue University with a Bachelors degree in Apparel Design and Technology. With unfailing love and support from her family and friends, Jen's passion for all things design took shape with the birth of her daughter. She had a fervent desire to create a magical place filled with inspiring imagery that would bring about a sense of modern whimsy to her world. Todd Clark Todd Clark Todd Clark was born in Calgary in 1963 and spent most of his youth on the prairies of Southern Alberta. He describes art as a vocation, a calling and a mission to express. Clark’s goal is to present images that deal with both real and imagined ideas in ways that challenge traditional notions of landscape paintings. While working part-time as an elementary teacher, Clark devotes much of his time and energy to his large oils. His work can be found in galleries both in Canada and in the U.S.
Andrea Cobb Andrea Cobb Andrea Cobb has always been inspired by pattern, color, and texture in nature and architecture. She illustrates environments, flora and fauna to tell a story about their spirit, how it feels to walk in awareness through life and catch the sounds, smells, and tiny visual details that are everything up close and personal. Cobb mixes these concepts and traditional fundamentals of illustrating with technology to suggest an edge of modernism. Andrea Cobb's training began at the Visual Arts program for high school at The North Carolina School of the Arts. She then attended Parsons School of Design in New York receiving a BFA with honors. After living and working in Manhattan for ten years. Cobb now creates from her studio in North Carolina.
Lisa Congdon Lisa Congdon San Francisco illustrator and fine artist Lisa Congdon was raised in both upstate New York and Northern California where she grew to love the trees and animals that surrounded her. That love is now expressed most intensely through her colorful paintings and drawings. Lisa lives in the Mission District of San Francisco with her partner Clay, her 10 pound chihuahua, Wilfredo, and her two cats, Barry and Margaret. She works at her studio several blocks from her home where she also houses many of her weird collections of old things. Lisa is represented by Lilla Rogers Studio.
Holli Conger Holli Conger Holli Conger is a digital and dimensional illustrator and designer, who lives and works in Nashville, Tennessee. Her work has appeared in magazines, greeting cards, workbooks, CD covers, packaging and children's books. Her whimsy and creativity are guaranteed to put a smile on any child's (and parent's) face. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design and Advertising and author’s a popular creative blog that showcases her diverse work and offers advice and inspiration to fellow artists.
Christopher Corr Christopher Corr Christopher Corr was born in London to Irish parents. He studied Graphic Design at Manchester Polytechnic and was awarded the Leverhulme Travelling Scholarship to the USA. He returned to complete a Masters at the Royal College of Art where he won the RCA Drawing Prize. He has had over a dozen one man shows at the Curwen, Berkeley Square, and Cadogan Galleries. His work has been awarded many times including the Chelsea Art Club Graphics Prize, the Lloyds Bank Printmaking Scholarship, the D&AD Silver Award and the Association of Illustrators Silver Award for his work on Vikram Seth’s book “A Suitable Boy.” In 1996 and 1997 he was artist for Quantas and has also painted posters for London Transport, National Aids Trust, Body Shop, Habitat, IKEA and UNICEF.
Margot Curran Margot Curran Margot Curran received her BA from the University of Minnesota and her MFA from the Maryland Institute, College of Art. Through an enduring interest in portraiture and oil painting, she discovered that her daughter’s toys are her best models, as they are patient and good-natured about sitting under hot lights for hours on end. Particularly inspired by Rembrandt and his ilk, Margot tries to show the true nature of the model.
Andrew Daniel Andrew Daniel Andrew Daniel finds inspiration from various sources, such as: nature, textiles and fabric design, Mexican Folk Art, and various global cultural traditions. Andrew studied painting through the University of Maine for several years after growing up in New England. He has moved to the small town of Arcata, in Northern California where he participated in the Honors Painting Program at Humboldt State University. Eventually he received his degree in Fine Art Painting from Humboldt State University of California in 2001.
Lisa DeJohn Lisa DeJohn Massachusetts based Lisa DeJohn has always drawn from a variety of influences for her work, the strongest being nature and the arts. Lisa’s early life was inspired by her mother, an artist and her father, an avid outdoorsman. She moved to Portland, Oregon in 1995 where she began her career as a painter, designer and mixed media artist. She has shown in solo and group exhibits for over a decade and her art has been featured in The Boston Globe, Elle Decor and Marie Claire Italia. Her work has also been highlighted in numerous web blogs such as Design*Sponge, Vogue.com, Art Esprit, Apartment Therapy, Print and Pattern, Paper Crave and Bloesom. In 2005 Lisa moved with her husband and two Chihuahua Terriers to New England where she currently lives and works.
James Dickerson James Dickerson I work best from the inside out. Over time my memory has stored snapshots of all kinds of events, impressions, reactions, emotions, experiences and insights. Certain visuals I see in the present, every day, create a powerful connection with those snapshots from the past. It is mostly from these connections that new images and emotions emerge for my canvases. As my life unfolds, so do my paintings. My large body of work comes from inside out. It reveals my challenges, feelings, beliefs, and sense of purpose. My paintings are my personal stories.
Angela Donato Angela Donato Angela Donato is a freelance illustrator and enjoys creating vivid oil paintings from her home studio in sunny Florida. Among her various inspirations, children seem to be a central focus in her work. Her love for “vintage-style” artwork and a pure sense of imagination always brings out a sense of timeless wonderment in her paintings. Her vintage pieces whimsically weave the fun, classic “good old days” with a creative modern appeal; tying decades of time in a brushstroke. Angela graduated from the Ringling College of Art and Design with a major in Illustration. Following her graduation, she dove into a career of freelance illustrating. After an accomplished career as a freelance illustrator for children’s magazines and books, she has begun to license her artwork.
Katherine Dunn Katherine Dunn Although she received her BA in Art with an emphasis in ceramics, Katherine Dunn did not start painting until her late 30's. When she did, she chose to work independently as a freelance illustrator for 9 years, working with national clients from her home base in Minneapolis. But after a Minneapolis gallery invited her to do a solo show in 2001, she realized the power of painting bigger and more personally.At the same time, her heart and soul were pulling her West, and she moved to Oregon where she eventually met her husband, a landscaper.They now live on a farm where Katherine looks out a studio window at old barnsand fences, their sheep, donkeys, a horse, chickens, and many more beings. Her illustration work centers around nature and animals and has been honored by national publications such as CA, American Illustration and Print.
Libby Ellis Libby Ellis Libby Ellis is an award- winning children’s book author and illustrator. Her cut- paper collages are made with love in the foothills of Los Angeles. She is inspired mostly by all things in nature: flowers, butterflies, trees, clouds, snow, and birds. Libby believes in love, lemonade, and magic!
Angela Eren Angela Eren A primarily self-taught artist, Angela Eren has been painting since she was 5. As a young adult, she studied color theory and painting at the University of Toronto and she has shown her work in both amateur and professional shows all around the country. Her inspiration is from what she sees in life, or what she has experience, perhaps in her travels, and by the emotion that is created by each experience. She enjoys the simplicity of working primarily in acrylic and oil mediums.
Jessica Flick Jessica Flick Jessica Flick grew up in a family of woodworkers, potters and crafters and as a child she was always dabbling in something creative. Her artwork boasts a colorful era of illustration and design styles that reflect her creative spirit and love for pattern mixing, texture and craft.As a mother of two young boys, she shares her interest for arts and crafts with her children. She enjoys spending the day with them playing with clay or creating a treasure chest to bury in the backyard, which she draws her inspiration from.
Aaron Foster Aaron Foster Aaron Foster works specifically in vintage license plates and reclaimed wood from old homes and barns. Having graduated from the University of California-Davis with a degree in history, he says "I always wonder about the history of the plates I use. What roads they may have traveled down already and where they might be headed next." Aaron's work has been featured in The New York Times, The San Francisco Chronicle, Mary Engelbreit's HOME Companion and on ABC's Extreme Makeover: The Home Edition. His interior design work has been featured on multiple occasions in Country Living Magazine.
Angelo Franco Angelo Franco Angelo Franco was born in Ecuador and moved to the United States when he was 19 years old. He has been painting over twenty five years, and studied for four years under a full merit scholarship and stipend at the Art Students League in New York City from 1976-80. His work was selected and included in the Art Students League’s permanent collection in 1980, and is featured in numerous private and corporate art collections. Mr. Franco’s passion is evident in his words, "Each new work is a serious search for the essence of a subject in nature. I try to convey the feeling and mood with simple compositions, shapes and bold contrasting colors, whether the subject is a still life, landscape or portrait.”

Art Fronckowiak’s distinctive style and technique is immediately recognized throughout the world.

His “First love” however, was in the rich values of the traditional romantic landscape. All of

Sharon Furner Sharon Furner Sharon Furner’s interest in art spans a life time, from a scrawny pigtailed girl drawing paper dolls with a new box of Crayola Crayons, to a mother of five, traveling abroad to study with Swiss, Austrian and Norwegian folk artists. Bright colors combined with simple patterns are visual candy that she has never tired of. Sharon has published over 20 decorative art books, taught decorative painting for fifteen years in her own store, The Gingerbread Haus and guest taught at national workshops and conventions.Additionally she has painted for private and public patrons developing, designing and painting a large variety of decorative motifs, wall size murals, trompe l’oeil and one-of- a- kind art furniture.
Amy Genser Amy Genser Amy Eisenfeld Genser plays with paper, paint and glue to explore her fascination and obsession with texture, pattern and color. Evocative of natural forms and organic processes, her work is both irregular and ordered. She constructs her pieces by layering, cutting, rolling, and combining paper. Sometimes she even adds metal and wood.
It was during a papermaking class in graduate school for Graphic Design at the Rhode Island School of Design, that Amy began her love affair with paper. She began her fine art career after graduating in 2001. Amy lives in Connecticut with her husband and three sons.
Heather Gentile-Collins Heather Gentile-Collins Heather Gentile was one of those kids that always wanted to grow up to be an artist…and who now aspires to be an artist that never grows up. Gentile Designs was incorporated soon after Gentile graduated from the prestigious School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1992. Her artwork has been featured in both national television and print medias. As a self-employed working artist for almost 15 years, she has worn many hats--commercial fashion illustrator, children’s décor designer, muralist, and fine artist. All of which influence her art today. Her goal has always been to create innovative artwork that inspires a sense of peace, nostalgia and positive energy. Marisa Haedike Marisa Haedike Marisa Haedike is an artist, designer, and illustrator living in sunny Los Angeles California. After several years exploring creative careers in advertising, graphic design, and interior design, Marisa re-discovered true happiness and fulfillment in painting, what she cherished most as a child.A prolific creator, and lover of color, Marisa’s work is usually made of acrylic on wood or canvas, and often includes mixed media. Colleen Phelon Hall Colleen Phelon Hall Since 1995, Colleen Phelon Hall has received commissions for large-scale murals in hospitals, schools and homes on the East Coast with a focus on fun and educational subjects for children. She is thrilled to offer a wide range of images from fairytale princess themes to realistic transportation paintings. Her attention to detail and artistic range makes her artwork truly unique. Colleen has received national exposure from having her artwork featured in several celebrity nurseries.
Colleen graduating from the University of Richmond with both an art and business degree. While living abroad on a Rotary Scholarship, she painted some of Europe’s most beautiful sights. After returning home, Colleen wanted to use her artistic talents to bring joy to others, especially children. As a mother of two, Colleen is pleased to have worked with many hospitals, medical practices and non-profit organizations to create unique spaces for children designed to take their mind off of their illnesses.
Eli Halpin Eli Halpin Growing up in Alaska gave Eli a unique perspective on animals, trees and people and the cozy relationships that exist among these entities. Studying painting at University of Alaska, Pacific NW College of Art and the Portland Community College in Oregon gifted her with the basic skills to paint full time. Eli further states that attending a state, then a private and then a community institution blessed her with a broad range of academic experiences. Her favorite artists are Jim Henson, Friedensreich Hundertwasser, Theodor Suess Geisel, and Gustav Klimt. All of Eli’s original paintings are created on recycled wood.
Jessie Hartland Jessie Hartland Jessie Hartland grew up in Washington, D.C., went to art school in Boston at the Museum School and has been based in New York City for some time. She is greatly influence by extensive travels with her husband and 10-year old son, Sam.
Steve Haskamp Steve Haskamp Born and raised in the Midwest, Steve Haskamp received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting from the Kansas City Art Institute. He worked for Hallmark Cards, Inc. for twelve years before moving to Southern California. Steve now works on a wide variety of projects, including illustrating children’s books, designing stationary, gift-wrap and journals. He also enjoys doing editorial illustration for numerous magazines. Steve enjoys growing unusual and exotic plants in his garden and is constantly entertained by his two energetic beagles, Olive and Ruby.
Carolyn Holman Carolyn Holman I grew up always loving the world of ideas and transformation. Mediums are interchangeable as long as layering color and texture are in the mix. Flowers express the immediacy and tender moments of the present that we all hold. They are windows to see through, precious and unique. Creativity gives me a place to explore and surprise myself. Gordon Hopkins Gordon Hopkins Gordon Hopkins is originally from Boston, MA and studied art at Principia College. He later studied Landscape Architecture in the masters program at the University of Colorado. Presently Gordon lives and works in Europe. His paintings are a diary of different events and places he has experienced, often just a random view, place or pattern stirs an inspiration. Visual simplicity and layers of color and textures are important elements of Gordon's work. His paintings are in galleries in England, Bruxelles and California.
Victoria Huckins Victoria Huckins Victoria Estacio Huckins was born in the Philippines and moved to the United States as a young child. She showed an early fascination with art. This attraction to the arts initially led her to persue careers in the fashion industry and interior design. She returned to an early interest in painting about ten years ago when her son started school. She has continued to works as a professional artist and to advocate for the arts community since that time. Her work has been exhibited in LaJolla & Palm Springs and hangs in Corporate and private collections.Victoria experiments with different media and, in addition to painting, Victoria enjoys gardening, interior design, and photography.

Judith Jarcho Judith Jarcho Judith Jarcho is a colorist, who prefers to work in the traditional medium of oil paint on canvas. In Judith's work she actively seeks to capture the essence, color and energy of her subject. Her professional training began at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, where she received her BFA and additional studies led to a Master's degree in Art Education. Alison Jay Alison Jay Alison Jay grew up in Derbyshire, England and studied graphic design at the London College of Printing where she specialized in illustration. After working in animation studios, Alison began illustrating children's books. She works in quick drying oil paint on paper and varnish and is known for her distinctive crackle finish. Alison has been influenced by everything from early Renaissance art to folk art. She enjoys walking about London and looking for bargains at flea markets.

Tonya Kehoe Tonya Kehoe Tonya Kehoe earned her Masters degree in Art from the University of Iowa in 1997. She began her art career drawing on closet walls at age 4 and has been making art ever since! Reading and traveling with her husband and son are her next favorite activities after painting. She is continually inspired by the imaginative play of children. The toys she paints have been lovingly played with (many were hers!) and possess much character. She likes to think of the worn surfaces of toys as the “patina of play” and her figurative, naturalistic style favors dramatic lighting and precise shadows on a neutral ground.

She truly thinks that a lot can be expressed with few simple lines and colors. She is a trained graphic designer and has lived in 3 different continents, Asia, Europe and currently in the United States. Her travels and exposure to different cultures has had a lasting impact on her style. Although each piece is simple, the process she undertakes is anything but. Each piece is thoroughly thought of and goes through many rounds of edits before it ends up on the production table. Robert Kennedy Robert Kennedy Robert Kennedy has a varied past that includes playing professional baseball in the Chicago Cub organization, coaching high school football and practicing law for thirty years. Kennedy was born in Boston and graduated from Boston College Law School. While practicing law, he took up painting as an avocation. Now living in Southern California, Kennedy devotes himself to painting - primarily in acrylics and watercolor. He describes his work as an attempt to create a mood of another time; peaceful and serene, unencumbered by the stresses of modern day.
Shelly Kennedy Shelly Kennedy As a "little girl" Shelly Kennedy liked to make jewelry from foil, build additions to her dollhouse out of shoe boxes, sew tiny pillows for her baby dolls and decorate her sneakers with bubblegum wrappers. Today as a "grown-up girl" she has just as much fun, everyday discovering new ways to express her love of creating and decorating. Shelly tells us “Happy children, pretty places, parties full of friends. Jennifer Kiraly Jennifer Kiraly Botanical forms, bee systems, memory and fabric directly inspire Jennifer Kiraly’s mixed media paintings. Layering different washes of paint and using veils of color in opposition with articulately drawn areas, allows her to juxtapose space in fresh ways. Collage, texture and silk screened patterns serve as markers of time and emotion in her work, while intimacy is depicted through color and a collage like approach to painting. Born in Michigan, Jennifer has her MFA in painting from ASU, and a BFA in painting/printmaking from the Kansas City Art Institute. Elisa Kleven Elisa Kleven I've always created little imaginary worlds. When I was a child, I loved making miniature people and animals out of paper, paint, clay, scraps of cloth, yarn, nutshells, even dried apples. I'd lose myself for hours making up stories about these characters, and tiny homes and landscapes for them to live in.Now that I'm an adult, I'm still making characters out of paper, paint, and scraps, and giving them stories and worlds. Jill McDonald Jill McDonald Since an early age Jill McDonald has loved to draw and especially loved color. At age 5 her dream job was to find the perfect name for her mom's bottles of nail-polish. Today that's not exactly what she does. Jill Graduated from Rhode Island Schools of Design with a major in Textile Design. She went on to work as a print stylist in New York for Baby Gap, following that she returned to the Midwest to work as an illustrator for Hallmark Cards. Jill now does an array of fun design work for bedding, wall art and more, and in her spare time she likes to take long walks, spend time with her family, pick flowers, and eat chocolate.

Jennifer Mercede Jennifer Mercede Jennifer Mercede was born in Long Beach, CA and grew up in Connecticut. At a young age Jennifer began making art, inspired by her grandmother, a free-spirited water-colorist. After graduating with a BA in Painting from Western Washington University she landed in Portland and started to think about her future and her career. She began to show in small coffee shops around Portland and with the loving support of a great community; Jennifer truly began to emerge as an artist.
Jennifer’s primarily abstract paintings consist of free flowing text, bright color fields, and crazy energetic doodling. Internally guided they involve letting go, taking big risks and trusting that there is no
such thing as a mistake. They are meant to enjoy and motivate. She is inspired by color, children’s art, life adventures, old school hip hop, graffiti, abstract expressionism, inner spirituality and her creative friends.

Deborah Mori Deborah Mori Deborah Mori, a graphic designer by trade, has designed, directed and created marketing and design materials for the past seventeen years. Most of those years being in the Halloween industry, working with Disney, Nickelodeon, and Dreamworks, along with many other interesting clients.
During this time, she also has been a painter and lover of all things creative. She displays her paintings at galleries and restaurants around town while exploring new, creative avenues for her art work. She has taught junior high and third grade and enjoys nurturing her students' artistic leanings. Carrie has two children, both of whom have become her motivation for painting children's themes. Carrie's inspirations come from vintage shops, pictures and children's books.
Jasmine Sasky Jasmine Sasky Jasmine Sasky was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. At the age of nineteen, she left home for a life’s adventure trip to Israel. There, she attained her Diploma in Graphic Design and Illustration. Her artwork has been published in many areas: greeting cards, calendars, book covers, stationery, and food promotions. Jasmine's talent and creativity have led her to a wide array of fields designing hand-made glass beads and jewelry, glassware, pewter and ceramic products, clay dolls and crafts. In 2004, Jasmine moved to Vancouver, Canada, with her husband and their three boys, where they live amidst toy cars, superheroes, pirates and Peter Pan tales.
Amy Schimler Amy Schimler Amy Schimler studied painting and fiber arts in Boston at The Museum School of Fine Arts and Massachusetts College of Art. She continued her studies in textile and surface design at Rhode Island School of Design. Jones Segarra Jones Segarra Joni Segarra, a.k.a. “Jones”, has loved art as long as she can remember. Self-taught, she began her art career after she became a mother. She started painting children’s art and soon found herself painting in many homes, businesses and show-homes. She has sold her acrylic paintings all over the US and abroad and her artwork has been published in both books and catalogs. In addition, she was honored to have the opportunity to paint 2 cows in the world famous “cow parade”.

Her first job was in Italy, working for Milan's innovative fashion house Fiorucci before coming back to New York to freelance for Tommy Hillfiger, and later, designing for Itokin, one of Japan’s largest fashion manufacturers.
Mattel Inc. commissioned Shapiro's talents on branding strategies for Barbie brand Style guide and My Scene Styleguide. She has also worked with Cartoon Network designing the style guide assets for the Powerpuff Girls and Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi brands. Jackie also works with Tepper Jackson, providing a pajama and bag collection.

Finding inspiration from her kids’ drawings, an old quilt, or an off-beat piece of folk-art, Lori creates her designs using everything from acrylics and watercolor to fabric and sculpey. Experimentation with different styles and mediums coupled with insatiable curiosity give each collection its own unique personality.
Creating exclusive brands and targeted collections for licensed products was a natural evolution for Lori. The Olika design staff has developed programs for influential retail clients that include Bath & Body Works, Target, Nickelodeon, Longaberger and Limited Too.

Lorena Siminovich Lorena Siminovich Lorena Siminovich (born in Buenos Aires) is a west coast artist, designer, and illustrator. She has a background in graphic design, and an extensive career as an art director. She also has several children’s books in the works.Her collages are made with found, recycled, painted, and vintage papers. Lorena travels and collects papers from all over the world, and from different eras. Lorena’s collages seem deceivingly simple, but upon closer look, the juxtaposition of patterns, textures, and languages explore different cultures and brings a tactile reference back to an overly digital world.She draws her inspiration for her collages from mid-century design and vintage illustration while her color sense comes from her Latin American roots.
Nancy Snow Nancy Snow My life as an artist has taken many turns. I became a stay-at-home mom to four children after graduating with a BFA from Tyler School of Art, Temple University. This rich personal experience influenced my development as an artist who loves painting children and painting for children. While raising my family, I was a partner in Great Walls Murals, a company that designed art for public spaces including schools, businesses and amusement parks. In 1999, I went back to college and became certified as a K - 5 art teacher. I have loved teaching art in an elementary school for the past eleven years. I am a figurative painter who works mainly in watercolor and gouache paints. Manya Stojic Manya Stojic Yugoslavian-born illustrator Manya Stojic creates simple brightly colored acrylic paintings. Bold splashes across the lavishly applied swirls of paint fill each of her paintings. Her best known picture books are Rain, Snow Wet Pebbles under Our Feet and Hello World! Greetings in Forty-two Languages around the Globe!, which includes pictures of children uttering the same friendly "Hello!," each in their own native language. Rain similarly focuses on African creatures who sense that the seasonal rains are fast approaching their dry savannah home. Tiger’s Story, Elephant’s Story and Gorilla’s Story bring these endangered animals closer to children hearts.

Rachel Taylor Rachel Taylor Rachel Taylor grew up in an artistic home in the north west of England. Thanks to her architect father and artist brother's influences, she knew from an early age that she would pursue a career in art. After finishing school she studied an Art and Design foundation course, where she developed a love of textile design and fashion. Rachel now has her own design company, and produces designs for all kinds of surface pattern, from greetings cards and gift-wrap to kids bedding and home-wares. She lives in England, where she enjoys gardening and cooking in her spare time. She also collects and sells vintage clothes at a little flea market at the weekends, keeping her long-time passion for fashion and textiles alive!
Rosemary Valente Rosemary Valente Rosemary Valente’s paintings have been shown in exhibitions both in galleries and museums throughout the U.S. and abroad. She received her Masters of Arts in Art Education from the University of Hawaii and has also studied in Greece, France and Mexico. Her wide travels inspired in her a fascination with landscapes and cityscapes, and form is sharply emphasized in her abstract imagery. Ms. Valente is the recipient of numerous awards and honors and has been a painting instructor for adults and children.
Barry Van Gerbig Barry Van Gerbig Barry van Gerbig was born in West Palm Beach but has also lived in London and Vermont. He came to art as a need to escape the pressures of the real world, having worked in TV production, public relations and sales. Challenging himself to do something more worthwhile, he began working with emotionally “at risk” youngsters. This, in turn, led him to painting in the evenings as an outlet for the day’s emotions. Encouraged by an art collector, he organized his first exhibit. Some of his originals are now in the hands of well known collectors and he additionally creates a women’s line of printed resort wear, called Govango, with his wife Lilly. His tropically inspired artwork depicts a fantasy world of animals that is primitive, sophisticated and fun, all at the same time.
Kaori Watanabe Kaori Watanabe Kaori Watanabe is an artist and illustrator who most enjoys creating items for baby and children. She has designed for Baby Gap and Sweet Potatoes among others, working in baby and kid's clothing, bedding, gift, stationary, educational toys and books.Trained at Hunter College in New York, she has studied everything from painting to silk screening.
Kristen White Kristen White Kristen White grew up in Rhode Island where she loved creating art even as a little girl. As a teenager she was known to spend hours painting a mural on her bedroom walls, only to change her mind and paint a new one a few months later. She studied painting and art therapy at Arcadia University outside of Philadelphia, PA. Her interest in creating children’s artwork developed from her natural ability to evoke a feeling of innocence in the artwork she creates. Kristen finds inspiration in unique materials and has a passion for all things vintage. You can often find her scouring antique stores and flea markets for new ideas from old objects. Kristen works from her studio in Katonah, New York where she lives with her husband, Craig and Vizsla, Ranger.
Jenny Whitehead Jenny Whitehead Jenny Whitehead is a children's book author and illustrator. Her books include Lunch Box Mail and Other Poems, and Holiday Stew, both poetry collections published by Henry Holt of Macmillan. She is also the artist for Punctuation Celebration, a collection of poems about punctuation written by Elsa Knight Bruno and published by Henry Holt in 2009. taking photographs and making jewelry for an Etsy site. She was an art director at Hallmark for seven years after graduating from Miami University in Ohio. Winborg Sisters Winborg Sisters Mendy Winborg Reese and Megan Winborg Gerrard grew up in Utah. Their interest in art began at a very young age. As early as they can remember, they spent many hours drawing and painting alongside their father, an accomplished artist.
Mendy studied and graduated at Utah State University with a Bachelor of Fine Art and a K-12 teaching certificate. She taught art in the public schools until her and her husband started a family. She enjoys painting landscapes and interiors, as well as, art for children.
Megan graduated in Elementary Education from USU in Logan, Utah. She spends many hours volunteering at her children’s charter school teaching art and working on the art committee. Children’s literature and artwork have always been an inspiration to her.
Both sisters are stay at home moms who enjoy creating artwork, as well as, memories with their children.
Nancy Wolff Nancy Wolff After she started her career as a textile designer, Nancy’s work was adopted by a wide range of leading designers and manufacturers. It was at this time that she began the experiments with color that would result in her signature style. By combining pattern, texture, newsprint and collage elements, she has created some of the most charming and distinctive illustrations and designs of the day.Nancy is the author and illustrator of a series of children’s books about a cat named Tallulah. An animated short created by Wolff for Nick Jr., received a Parent’s Choice Gold Award and she has been a featured artist at the Contemporary Textile Design Show at the Cooper Hewitt Museum in New York. Johnny Yanok Johnny Yanok To see Johnny Yanok not wearing a gentle smile would be a rarity. When experiencing his work it is clearly understood where the contagious grin comes from. His art brings the viewer to a wonderful place of humor, a twinkle of years past and sometimes a simple quirky connection; just imagine what it does to the creator.
Evident inspirations for Johnny are Mid-century style, vintage Halloween, Disneyland, and flea markets. Merging these, traditional gouache painting techniques and digital media make his work truly unique. His success as an artist is from a rounded source of interests. Johnny's paintings and sculptural works are exhibited in galleries internationally. His commercial work spans advertising to entertainment.
